    Where is Zihuantanejo?

    Zihuatanejo is known for its welcoming atmosphere and reputation as one of Mexico’s safer coastal destinations, with a strong sense of community and a pace of life that feels unhurried. Zihuatanejo is located on the western coast of central Mexico, in the state of Guerreo.

    How large are the groups, is the retreat for women only?

    This is a women only retreat. Groups are intentionally intimate and small, between 5- 12 participants.

    The program includes:

    - 4 yoga sessions

    - 3 (60min) individual massages

    Do I have to participate in all the activities?

    Our goal is for you to relax and feel rejuvenated, so we want this retreat to be as flexible as possible. We have created a daily schedule of experiences that are entirely optional. Feel free to decide daily what you would like to participate in. There is no need to let us know in advance. Listen to your body.

    What is the weather like in Zihuatanejo?

    Zihuatanejo is predictable, experiencing a constant climate year-round, with minimal seasonal fluctuations.

    Typically, average maximum daytime temperatures range from a very warm 88°F/31°C in July to a comfortable 84°F/29°C in the coolest month, February.

    Nights are cooler; around 72°F/22°C, especially in Jan and Feb

    I have dietary restrictions; can these be accommodated?

    Yes, it is quite easy to accommodate dietary preferences/allergies such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals. Please let us know when you register.

    Airport: (ZIH) Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo International Airport. Marea is located 8min away from the airport.

    Direct flights from USA: Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis/St. Paul

    Direct flights from Canada: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary

    Liz or Fernanda will monitor your flight and pick you up as soon as you leave customs/immigration.

    What documents do I need to travel to Mexico? Do I need a Visa to enter Mexico?

    To enter Mexico, you must have the following documents:

    1.    A valid passport or travel document. There is no need for a minimum period of validity of the passport (for example 6 months); but this document must be valid during the length of your stay in Mexico. What documents do I need to enter Mexico?
